If we'd have been here a couple of years earlier, there's no doubt one of our nominations would have been for the mighty flickr. flickr is seen as one of the services at the vanguard of Web 2.0, in part for tags and community structure. One other reason is its open API which allows programmers to access the photos and data on the site.
