Fill My Room

An enticing new twist on the Million Dollar Homepage model that is actually as simple and effective as the much aped original. I'll make no secret of the fact that like many webmasters, the sheer simplicity and effectiveness of the millionaire making ad scheme idea had us kicking ourselves for not thinking it first.

In a strange way it also helped with the inspiration to create this site to try and track and predict these great ideas. Coincidentaly we will be avoiding all the other PixelAdvertising copyists other than ones like this: Fill My Room, which is another sweep of sheer brilliance.

It not only manages to ape the basic idea of the Million Dollar Homepage, but take it into the real world and adds a sense of childhood fun. Appealing to anyone with the kind of mind that enjoys amassing items and fitting them into a space. It may not get as popular as the original idea, but people who enjoy building blocks will no doubt love it - you buy bricks to fill the room. Buy enough, you get a sponsor slot on the page. Easy as that. *Note* Unfortunately, the site has now closed and is simply parked. The room never did get filled.
