Grupthink

Grupthink - somewhere between Digg and a forumThere's still a lot of potential for the Digg model in the world of the web. The ability for users to help define what the most merit worthy news stories and articles are continues to enthrall and devolp the world over. We've already seen the model applied to video and shopping with great results. Our next nomination represents another fun variation on the model.

Grupthink takes a lighter approach to the Digg proposition. Instead of being news article orientated, it allows users to post topics, like a forum. Then members can post answers to the topic and vote on the results. A range of topics have been posted from the esoteric to the fun. The Digg like answer trail means the top answers rise to the top of the stack. It's a fun community, as well as a great way of tapping the infamous hive mind to get an opinion on something that's bugging you.

Grupthink is an amazing site. Its topics range from raising your children to where you like to go on vacation and so much more. The people involved are intelligent, informative and provide a very interesting online community. I recomend it whole heartedly. No where can you find a more entertaining site to spend your time.
