It's not all great out there in internet land. Some things really tick me off about the web - and being a vocal and sarcastic sort, I thought I'd collect all those peeves in one nice place. From crimes against the user to bandwagon jumping ideas - if it's raised my heckles or made me ponder enough then I can add it to The Next Big Web Thing Hall Of Shame.

Hall Of Shame Sections

Ok, so it's a little empty at present, but as I add stuff, it won't be. If you're grabbing the site's rss feed then it will be mentioned there when ever new articles are added to this section.

Web 2.0 Yucks

Web 2.0 is all about people. It's warm and fuzzy, looks great, feels useful - however, like a curmudgeonly old fart sat in the corner of the pub taking the mick out of the young Emos, there's plenty of things about it that tick me off. Here's some of them.

The web has often been guilty of bringing together communities of people who quite frankly, should never be allowed on the same planet. Here we'll look at some of the truly irritating Web Cults out there.

Crimes Against The User

Simplicity works, but some web properties insist on making things more complicated than they need to be. I'll keep a list here of stuff that makes navigating sites and finding what you want a pain.
